Mr. President, here's what's going to happen. The U.S. will default on August 2nd. The GOP will see how many hours it will take for the Treasury Secretary to announce we have defaulted.

GOP will let the default proceed, but only for a few hours. Then a deal will pass with tax hikes, closing tax loopholes, ending subsidies, etc..
